Synopsis: Drama. In 1960s London teenage best friends, Ginger and Rosa who were born on the same day and have grown-up together are now on the brink of adulthood. Both girls are rebelling against their mothers and are drawn to Ginger’s pacifist father Roland as the Cuban Missile Crisis deepens. Ginger is preoccupied with the Cold War and the mounting threat of nuclear devastation, while Rosa is more concerned with the sexual revolution, a form of protest that will irrevocably affect their families, her future and ultimately, the girls’ friendship.
